CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign, BJP State General Secretary and MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabanani took part in a cleanliness drive along with the public at Ward 30, Harshvardhan Nagar, Pampapur Hanuman Mandir in the South-West Assembly constituency. He led the initiative by contributing physical labor (shramdaan) to clean the well and temple premises.
On this occasion, as part of the “One Tree in Mother’s Name” campaign, saplings were also planted in the temple premises. Sabanani stated that Bhopal is renowned globally for its lakes, greenery, and natural beauty. Nature has gifted Bhopal with invaluable treasures, and it is our duty to protect and preserve them.
He emphasized that the South-West Assembly region too is blessed with natural resources—lakes, greenery, and water bodies—and it is everyone’s responsibility to contribute toward conserving these divine gifts so they can be utilized for generations to come.
Through the Jal Ganga Conservation Plan, we can not only protect but also revive our natural resources. Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi has highlighted the importance of cleanliness, and its impact is clearly visible across the country. Under the “One Tree in Mother’s Name” campaign, millions of trees have already been planted, offering a priceless legacy for future generations.
Sabanani urged all citizens to plant more trees during the rainy season to beautify Mother Earth. Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan was also present during the drive and shared the importance of cleanliness with the public. The event was attended by senior BJP leaders including Mahesh Joshi, Mandal President Priyesh Upadhyay, Chandrabhan Yadav, Narendra Prajapati, Harish Sharma, Indrani Dutta, Seema Sharma, Lakshmi Kabulasi, and many local residents.
