CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Speech Competition on Fundamental Rights Organized Under India’s Constitution Amrit Mahotsav
As part of India’s Constitution Amrit Mahotsav, the Department of Political Science and Public Administration organized a speech competition on “The Relevance of Fundamental Rights in the Indian Constitution”. The competition saw the participation of eight students, who eloquently explained different fundamental rights and highlighted their significance in contemporary society.
Key Highlights of the Event:
Judging Panel: Professors Archana Chauhan, Arpana Badal, and Neeraj Dhakad served as the panel of judges.
Speech Topics: Participants analyzed various fundamental rights and their relevance in today’s world.
Judges’ Insights: The judges emphasized the balance between rights and duties, encouraging students to understand their civic responsibilities.
Scholarly Address:
Professor Amar Nayak from the Political Science department delivered a speech on the history of rights worldwide, the uniqueness of India’s constitutional provisions, and the responsibility of individuals and the state in preserving these rights.

🥈 Second Place: Shivani Lavvanshi (BA 2nd Year)
🥉 Third Place: Durgesh Nandini (BA 1st Year)
The results were announced by Chandna Singh, Head of the Political Science Department. The event was successfully conducted by Professor Kavita Singh, and witnessed large participation from faculty members and students from various disciplines.
