CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the aegis of the District Food Office, the National Consumer Protection Day celebration was organized under the chairmanship of Pratibha Pandey, Member of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, and with the special presence of Bhopal Additional Collector Ankur Meshram. The event focused on consumer awareness and was attended by officials from voluntary consumer organizations, various departments, and consumers.
The keynote speaker, Smt. Pratibha Pandey, Member of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, raised awareness about consumer interests, rights, and responsibilities. Additional Collector Ankur Meshram, along with representatives from the MPEB Department, Food and Drug Administration Department, Weights and Measures Department, Postal Department, and voluntary organizations, also spoke on safeguarding consumer rights and preventing fraud.
Exhibitions were organized by various departments and voluntary organizations to provide valuable information to consumers, who actively engaged with the displays. The program was organized and conducted by the District Office of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department, Bhopal.
