CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A successful poster competition was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Sant Hirdaram Girls’ College, Bhopal, under the Drug De-addiction Campaign on the theme “Staying Away from Drugs is Essential.” NSS volunteers participated enthusiastically and presented creative and meaningful posters highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse.
The primary objective of the competition was to promote both creativity and social awareness among the students. Through their posters, the volunteers delivered an inspiring message aimed at building a drug-free society.
The college principal, Dalima Parwani, appreciated the event, stating that the students’ creative thinking and commitment on such a serious social issue like drug de-addiction is commendable. She emphasized that such initiatives help develop a sense of social responsibility among youth, which is crucial for nation-building. She congratulated all participants for their contribution and expressed hope that they would continue to participate in socially relevant activities in the future as well.
