It is these skills and abilities that uplift every individual. Skill development, which means continuous training, is crucial for guiding youth towards progress in the right direction. Only when our youth are skilled and capable will the dream of a self-reliant India come true,” said Dr. Shrikant Patil, Director of CRISP.
He expressed these views during a program organized by the Center for Research and Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP) on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day at ITI (Mugaliyachhaap). The program was attended by CRISP Director Amol Vaidya, ITI Principal Shyam Mishra, heads of all departments at CRISP, and students.
The program commenced with a tribute to Swami Vivekananda’s statue. Addressing the students, Dr. Patil emphasized, “You are the future of this country. When your intellect, skillful hands, and the power of your mind come together, there is nothing in the world that you cannot achieve.” He urged them to decide what they want to achieve in the next 10 years and in which direction they want to shine. He highlighted how over the past 28 years, thousands of youth have been empowered through skill development. Their goal is to illuminate every corner of Madhya Pradesh with the light of skill development and propel youth towards a brighter future.”
CRISP Director Amol Vaidya shared the theme of this year’s World Youth Skills Day, “Youth Skills for Peace and Development,” emphasizing the crucial role of youth in establishing peace and finding solutions. He noted that our country values youth power and showcases it as a youth-led nation.”
