More than 400 D.Ed candidates, who are agitating in Madhya Pradesh over their demands, gheraoed the bungalow of Minister Gajendra Yadav. The candidates have been raising their voice over their demands for a long time. As part of this campaign, a large number of protesters gathered outside the bungalow and sat on a dharna. During the protest, the candidates also raised slogans in support of their demands.
In view of the situation, police reached the spot and began action to remove the protesters. During this, several candidates were lifted by police personnel by their hands and feet, made to sit in buses and taken away from the site. The sudden action led to a tense situation at the spot for some time.
The protesters said they have been continuously struggling over their demands and expect a solution from the government. Police, meanwhile, removed the protesters from the spot to end the dharna. All eyes are now on what steps will be taken next over the candidates’ demands and the administration’s action.
