Residents of Dadhi Nagar are troubled by darkness in the ward after street lights stopped working. As evening sets in, the absence of lighting on roads and in surrounding areas is causing difficulties for people in commuting. According to local residents, the area remains dark at night because the street lights are not functioning.
The lack of adequate lighting is also creating problems for pedestrians and vehicle drivers. People returning home at night in particular have to exercise caution on the way. The darkness has left ward residents facing inconvenience and concern.
Local people have demanded that the authorities concerned get the non-functional street lights switched on, so that adequate lighting is available in the ward at night and residents get relief.
