CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal  : At Kamdhenu Bhawan in Bhopal, two-year veterinary diploma holders submitted a memorandum to the department for the fifth time, demanding their rightful appointments. The protest was conducted in a completely peaceful and democratic manner.

The primary issue is that, despite the Hon’ble High Court’s order during the AVFO recruitment process of 2025, the order has not yet been implemented. The court had directed that diploma holders should be appointed to the posts of Assistant Veterinary Field Officer (AVFO). However, the department has not issued appointment orders so far. Moreover, earlier appointments given to degree holders — whose appointments were subject to the court’s decision — have not been canceled, nor have those posts been reassigned to diploma holders as instructed.

Despite all this, the department has not taken any action.

The Madhya Pradesh Veterinary Diploma Holders Association has placed the following demands before the department:

Immediate implementation of the Hon’ble High Court’s order.

Completion of the AVFO recruitment process of 2024 without further delay, with the publication of the eligible and ineligible candidate list, followed by appointments.

Cancellation of the appointments of degree holders whose jobs were subject to the final court order, and appointment of diploma holders in their place.

In future recruitments for the AVFO post, only diploma holders should be considered eligible, as per recruitment rules and court orders.

They have also warned that if action is not taken promptly, they will intensify their protest across the state, though it will remain completely constitutional and peaceful.
