CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Sagar (Divisional Bureau): Under the aegis of the Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department, a one-day national seminar on the theme “Skill Development: Scope and Possibilities” was organized at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Government Arts and Commerce College, Sagar. The seminar, held under the guidance of Principal Saroj Gupta, was inaugurated by MLA Shailendra Jain.
During the inaugural session, MLA Shailendra Jain encouraged students to embrace entrepreneurship, stating, “One enterprise creates thousands of jobs. Skilled hands can turn even soil into gold.” In the closing session, the Chief Guest, Vice-Chancellor of Rani Avantibai University, Prof. Vinod Kumar Mishra, emphasized the importance of the demand and supply principle while elucidating the relationship between skills and economics.
Key speakers at the seminar shared insights on the diversity and utility of skill development. Director Shriram Parihar appreciated the dedication of artisans, while Director Rajni Gupta highlighted the importance of interest-based skills.
The seminar witnessed participation from over 500 students. The organizing committee included Dr. Amar Kumar Jain, Rana Kunjar Singh, and Suchita Agarwal.
