CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the Vector-Borne Disease Control Program, a call center has been established at the District Malaria Office under the guidance of Chief Medical and Health Officer Prabhakar Tiwari and District Malaria Officer-in-Charge Archana Mishra. The general public can use this call center to gather information about mosquito-borne diseases, as well as seek any assistance related to dengue and malaria, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. The call center number is 0755-2660636, and it is available for any assistance regarding mosquito-borne diseases.

As part of the dengue and malaria awareness program, the EMBED Team of Family Health India conducted a dengue fever awareness campaign at Mahatma Gandhi Square in the Awadhpuri area. The team informed local residents and shopkeepers about the causes, symptoms, and prevention methods of dengue. The campaign emphasized eliminating mosquito breeding sites, proper waste management, and adopting protective measures like using mosquito nets and repellents. Through this campaign, over 500 pedestrians in the area were made aware of dengue prevention.

Regional Coordinator of Family Health India, Santosh Bhargava, highlighted that intermittent rainfall promotes the growth of larvae. He stressed the importance of protecting oneself from mosquito-borne diseases and taking precautions against mosquitoes, even during the daytime.
