CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda has stated that ensuring the timely fulfillment of citizens’ basic needs is the government’s top priority. The policies of both the central and state governments aim to ensure that the benefits of development reach every section of society without any discrimination.
Deputy Chief Minister Devda was addressing the gathering on the occasion of the groundbreaking ceremony of the Joint Tehsil Office building in Malhargarh, which is being constructed at a cost of ₹9.10 crore.
He stated that the government’s schemes are now directly benefiting the public and that the role of middlemen has been eliminated. He instructed the construction agencies to complete the building of the Joint Tehsil Office within one year in accordance with the prescribed quality standards. He also urged citizens to adopt indigenous products.
Devda emphasized that the construction of the Joint Tehsil Office building will bring qualitative improvements to the administrative functioning of the Malhargarh region. With all tehsil-related departments operating within a single campus, services will be transparent, efficient, and decisions will be taken more quickly. Services including revenue, property transfer, demarcation, certificates, and other public utilities will be provided in a timely manner.
Revenue-related matters concerning farmers—such as khasra-khatoni (land records), demarcation, property transfer, and crop insurance—will be resolved more quickly. The integrated system for land dispute resolution will provide special convenience to farmers and rural residents.
The new building will also ensure easy access to essential services such as income certificates, caste certificates, and residence certificates. Senior citizens, women, and residents of remote rural areas will no longer have to make repeated visits to government offices. The availability of modern digital record management, online services, and infrastructure will further strengthen e-governance.
On this occasion, MP Sudhir Gupta said that the government is simplifying the tax structure while providing more facilities to the public. The construction of the Joint Tehsil Office building will ensure quality services for citizens and a better working environment for officials.
