CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Special Budget of ₹45 Lakhs Allocated for Development of Buddha Viharas in South-West Assembly: MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani

Bhagwandas Sabnani, State General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the popular MLA of the South-West Assembly, announced a special budget allocation of ₹45 lakhs on Sunday for the development of all Buddha Viharas within his constituency. The announcement was accompanied by a foundation-laying ceremony (Bhoomi Pujan) held at the Buddha Vihara in Ward 28.

The event began with prayers and offerings at the statue of Lord Buddha led by Mr. Sabnani. On this occasion, Venerable Bhante Ran Bauddh was also present.

Speaking at the event, MLA Sabnani stated,

“Today, the whole world is walking on the path shown by Lord Buddha. True peace in the world can be achieved by following His teachings. Our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also invoked the teachings of Lord Buddha on several global platforms and inspired nations to follow the path of peace.”

He added,

“On this auspicious day, we are launching development works worth ₹45 lakhs across all Buddha Viharas in our constituency. This is just the beginning. We will continue to prioritize and implement the necessary development works at important sites in the future as well. I pray to Lord Buddha for the happiness and peace of all people.”

The program was attended by several dignitaries and community leaders including Mukesh Dehade (President, Karunadham Mandal), Asmita Gaikwad (President, Women’s Wing), Seema Wanjari, Vimla Salve, Vijay Surankar, Santosh Brahmbhat, Raju Bange, Dinesh Bharti, Saku Mahavar, Govind Verma, Anees Khan, Ramu Gajbhiye, Raja Osle, and many BJP party workers and citizens.
