CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organized the Madhya Pradesh State Annual Meeting 2026 at the Brilliant Convention Center in Indore. This important event saw participation from industrialists, policymakers, academicians, and representatives from various sectors across the state, who deliberated on the future of industrial and economic development in Madhya Pradesh.

The highlight of the program was the announcement of the new leadership of CII Madhya Pradesh. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Director of AISECT Limited, was appointed Chairman for the year 2026–27, while Saurabh Singh Mehta, Director of Kriti Nutrients Limited, was appointed Vice Chairman.

Siddharth Chaturvedi emphasized that, based on his experience in education, skill development, and industry-government coordination, he aims to guide industrial development, innovation, and collaborative initiatives in Madhya Pradesh in new directions. Under his leadership, CII MP will focus on policy dialogue, industrial growth, and promoting inclusive economic progress.

The conference was organized under the theme India Moment: Enterprise, Institution Building, and Inclusive Development, aligned with the vision of Developed India 2047. Detailed discussions were held on the role of industry, institutional strengthening, and partnership-based development models. In the public session, a special discussion was conducted on advancing industry, accelerating development, and encouraging collaboration.

The program’s key attraction was the fireside chat, in which Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Vice Chairman of Bharti Enterprises, shared his views on industrial leadership and India’s role on the global stage.

This annual meeting proved to be a significant step toward the industrial development of Madhya Pradesh and fostering collaborative progress.
