CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Shri Dharmendra Singh Rajput (Shivpuri) has been re-elected as the State President of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for the Madhya Bharat region, and Ketan Chaturvedi (Betul) has been elected as the State Minister for the year 2024-25. This announcement was made by the ABVP Madhya Bharat regional office in Bhopal.
According to a statement issued today by the election officer, Deepak Paliwal, from the ABVP’s regional office, the tenure of both positions will be for one year. The newly elected officials will assume their responsibilities on December 21, 2024, during the 57th Regional Convention of ABVP in Guna.
Dharmendra Singh Rajput is currently an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University Institute of Technology (RGPV), Shivpuri. He has published several research papers and has expertise in various areas of technical education. Active in ABVP since 2009, he has held various responsibilities, including Vice President and President of Ujjain Nagar, District Head, Regional Head, State Vice President, and Member of the National Executive. He was first elected as the State President for 2022-23, re-elected for 2023-24, and now for 2024-25.
Ketan Chaturvedi completed his B.Com from Government Maharani Laxmibai College, Gwalior. He has been associated with ABVP since 2016 and became a full-time worker in 2021. He has held various roles, including Gwalior Metropolitan Minister, Jiwaji University Coordinator, Bhopal Metropolitan Assistant Minister, and Narmadapuram District Organization Minister. He also served as Deputy Minister for ABVP Madhya Bharat in 2023-24. Currently, he is the Department Organization Minister for Narmadapuram with his center in Betul. His innovative approaches have significantly contributed to organizational expansion, and he has now been elected as the State Minister for ABVP Madhya Bharat for the 2024-25 session.
