CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the auspicious occasion of the birthday of former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and Rajya Sabha Member Digvijaya Singh, a tradition of service, compassion, and dedication was upheld this year as in previous years. Under the leadership of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary Vinod Sen, the day was observed by Sahyog Sanstha, Sironj, in the spirit of “Service to humanity is service to God.”

On this occasion, food was lovingly served to the poor, helpless, and needy, conveying the message that the true celebration is one that brings a smile to the face of someone who is hungry. Raja Sahib’s life has always been devoted to safeguarding the rights of the underprivileged, the oppressed, and the weaker sections of society—and embracing that very ideology, this act of service became a living tribute to him.

In this noble effort, not only food but also the values of human compassion, equality, and social justice were symbolically served. This, indeed, was the most beautiful birthday tribute to Raja Sahib—where humanity was honored above politics.

On the occasion, senior Congress leader Kesar Khan; Block Congress Committee Sironj President Suresh Yadav; Bharatdeep Mehta; Ashok Yadav; Mahendrapal Singh Baghel; Kamal Singh Yadav; City Congress Committee President Saifu Gaddi; Ram Dayal Vishwakarma; Ashish Jain; Junaid Khan; Sushil Banskar; Jai Mangal Yadav; Rashid Khan; Ravi Shankar Sen; and many other Congress members were present.
