CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: CNN Central News and Network – ITDC India ePress | ITDC News, Bhopal: New Delhi. Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh’s Delhi concert is in the spotlight. His ‘Aura India Tour’ show, scheduled for 30 October 2026 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, has not received permission from Delhi Police. Amid this, Diljit shared a message about people who, according to him, try to pull someone back. His post is being viewed in the context of developments linked to the concert, although the singer has not directly accused any person by name.
Why is there suspense over the Delhi concert? Delhi Police has refused permission for the 30 October event, citing security-related inputs and law-and-order responsibilities during the festival period. A letter in this regard was sent by the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South district, to ticketing partner BookMyShow. Following this decision, confusion has emerged among fans who had bought tickets for the show. For now, until clear official information emerges on a new date, change of venue or ticket refunds, it remains necessary to watch for an announcement from the organisers.
What did Diljit say to those ‘pulling back’? Diljit’s post carried a message about maintaining faith in oneself while facing difficulties and opposition. Because it was shared amid the dispute over permission for the Delhi concert, fans are linking it to the current developments. However, it is not clear whether he was targeting any particular person or institution. Questions over organising the event without police permission remain, as the Delhi Police decision is based on security concerns. In such a situation, further information from the organisers and the authorities concerned will be important for clarity on the final status of the concert. Diljit has continued to show enthusiasm for the 30 October show in his promotional messaging, leaving fans with both hope and uncertainty. The current position is that the Delhi concert has not received police permission, while promotion of the show from Diljit’s side continues. Without official confirmation, it would not be correct to say that the event will definitely take place or has been completely cancelled.
