CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: Collector Priyank Mishra has said that ensuring the benefits of government schemes reach the last eligible person standing at the end of society, and ensuring prompt and fair redressal of public grievances, are the district administration’s highest priorities. He made it clear that negligence at any level in matters related to public interest will not be tolerated.
At the weekly review meeting of time-bound cases held in the Collectorate meeting hall, Collector Mishra expressed displeasure over pending complaints on the Chief Minister Helpline, unattended cases, and the transfer of complaints without proper reasons, and directed officials to improve their working.
He said special ward-wise welfare camps will be organised in all development blocks and urban local bodies of the district from June 12 to 18. In these camps, 100 percent registration of eligible beneficiaries left out of Ayushman Bharat, Ayushman Vay Vandana, PM Surya Ghar, PM SVANidhi, Lakhpati Didi and other public welfare schemes will be ensured. Pending cases of the CM Helpline and Lok Seva Guarantee will also be resolved satisfactorily on the spot.
In the meeting, Collector Mishra also directed that a wide publicity campaign be launched for admissions to the ITI session 2026-27 with the objective of connecting youth to employment-oriented education. He said extensive use of the QR code issued by the department should be ensured so that students can easily obtain information about various courses.
He also stressed wide publicity for the government’s integrated digital platform, the Harsh Portal, and said it would help in making a comprehensive assessment of citizens’ needs and linking them to suitable government schemes.

Collector Mishra directed that necessary safety measures be ensured under the mining closure plan in connection with closed mines. He said action should be taken either to safely fill such mines or develop them as reservoirs. He also said fencing, warning signboards and plantation must be carried out mandatorily.
In view of the monsoon, he instructed all SDMs to strengthen safety arrangements, carry out risk assessment and install necessary signages in sensitive areas such as Kerwa Dam, Kaliyasot and Ghoda Pachhad. He said the administration should remain fully prepared and alert to deal with any possible disaster situation.
Collector Mishra also directed speedy and transparent disposal of medical assistance cases under the PM Relief Scheme, pre-monsoon inspection of school buildings, and ensuring necessary repair works.
During the meeting, he emphasised the need to deal with matters related to soldiers and ex-servicemen with special sensitivity. He said all such cases should be resolved on priority and immediate coordination should be established with the Sainik Welfare Board whenever required, so that brave soldiers dedicated to the service of the country and their families do not face any inconvenience.
