CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The District Health Committee meeting was organized at the Collectorate office. During the meeting, ongoing health programs in the district were reviewed. Attendees included Additional District Magistrate Sumit Pandey, Chief Medical and Health Officer Bhopal Manish Sharma, nodal officers of various health programs, and representatives from different departments and government health institutions.

The review focused on first-quarter ANC registrations, examinations of pregnant women, follow-ups, and high-risk identification. Instructions were issued to prepare line lists and generate IDs for beneficiaries whose comprehensive IDs had not yet been created. The heads of institutions were directed to ensure 100% entry of services provided for every pregnant woman.

Further directives included increasing full vaccination coverage, making real-time entries on the Yuvin portal, and enhancing HPV vaccination. Parents of adolescent girls were to be informed about the benefits of the HPV vaccine through the District Education Officer. Coordination with the Tribal Welfare Department was instructed for vaccinating girls residing in tribal hostels.

For the 100-day TB screening campaign, officials were instructed to achieve 100% screening of the vulnerable population and ensure data entry on the Nikshay portal. Chief Medical and Health Officer Bhopal Manish Sharma also provided information on PM Relief, Rahvir Yojana, the National Child Health Program, National Vector-Borne Disease Control Program, Leprosy Control Program, and Ayushman Bharat scheme.
