In view of the Diwali and Chhath festivals, an inspection was carried out at the district hospital to assess the arrangements for health services and facilities being provided to patients. CMS Dr. A.K. Dwivedi reviewed various departments of the hospital and checked the status of arrangements.
During the inspection, he visited the emergency department, OPD and wards and reviewed the facilities being provided to patients. He gathered information about the availability of health services, cleanliness and necessary arrangements. He also discussed the hospital’s functioning and the facilities available to patients with the staff concerned.
Given the possibility of an increase in the number of patients at the hospital during the festivals, emphasis was placed on keeping the arrangements in order. The purpose of the inspection was to ensure that no patient faces difficulty in receiving treatment and necessary health facilities during Diwali and Chhath.
The CMS stressed the need to maintain and improve essential facilities while keeping a watch on the hospital’s arrangements.
