CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The district-level evaluation committee meeting was held in the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of Collector Kaushalendra Vikram. Southwest Assembly MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani, along with other committee members, was present at the meeting.
The meeting included a detailed discussion on the proposed Collector Guidelines for the year 2026–27. During the session, registered documents were analyzed through the Sampada portal, and location information obtained from satellite-detected changes was presented to the committee. Additionally, a total of 63 suggestions received from the public were discussed.
The committee partially accepted the suggestion regarding the reduction of rates for Alark Residency. It decided to maintain the agricultural land rates in village Bhauri as they are, while suggestions for reducing plot rates were also reviewed. The proposal for rate revisions submitted by Noor-us-Sabah Residency, Kohefiza, was rejected. Partial amendments to the rates of Mayfair Colony in village Maholi were approved. The suggestion to reverse the increase in rates at Golden City Jatkhedi was invalidated, while the rates for village Deepdi on Bhojpur Road were kept unchanged as per the earlier proposal.
The committee accepted suggestions regarding deals occurring at rates higher than the guideline in rural areas. A proposal was also made for stamp duty adjustments on property re-transfers, which was supported by the MLA and recommended to be forwarded to the state and central valuation boards.
