“District-Level Training for Census 2027 Scheduled from 12–16 March”

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhuvan Gupta, District Census Officer, Bhopal, stated that under Census 2027, the second phase of training for district/charge-level officers regarding house listing and house enumeration will be conducted on 12 and 16 March.

For Census 2027, the first phase, covering house listing and enumeration, was previously conducted through a two-day training program for district/charge-level officers at the district level from 16 to 27 February, preparing them to complete house listing and enumeration in Madhya Pradesh within the scheduled period from 1 to 30 May 2026.

Now, in the second phase of training, a one-day district-level training session will be held on 12 and 16 March 2026, from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This second phase will include training on the District Census Handbook as well as practical, hands-on exercises on the CMMS portal.

For the Bhopal district, detailed census training for rural and urban areas will be provided on 12 March by Training Officers Ancy Reji and Yashasvi, and on 16 March, training will cover the Bhopal Municipal Corporation area.
