CNN Central News and Network–ITDC India ePress / ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh commended Bhopal district for significant progress in resolving revenue cases, urging officials to maintain the momentum. He directed revenue officers to ensure the prompt resolution of cases and to hold meetings with patwaris in their respective areas to provide clear instructions. He emphasized that exemplary performance would be rewarded, while negligence in work would result in penalties.
Commissioner Singh conducted a review meeting with revenue officials of Bhopal district at the Commissioner’s Office conference hall. The meeting was attended by Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Revenue Kiran Gupta, and other revenue officials.
Key Review Highlights:
- 86% of name transfer cases, 88% of partition cases, and 88% of demarcation cases have been resolved.
- Out of 10,978 registered possession rights cases, 7,856 cases have been addressed. Significant progress has also been observed in other cases.
- The Commissioner instructed for the swift resolution of pending cases and emphasized maintaining progress in resolving ownership and possession cases, land acquisition cases, and adhering strictly to time limits.
Instructions from the Commissioner:
- Revenue officers must monitor pending cases in their respective courts daily.
- Investigate and address cases that are delayed or dropped from hearings.
- Expedite resolution of possession and ownership scheme cases and ensure no delays in land acquisition cases.
- Address complaints on the CM Helpline promptly and appropriately, noting that the district’s ranking has already improved in this regard.
Revenue Campaign 3:
Officials informed the Commissioner about the launch of Revenue Campaign-3, which will continue until December 15. Under this campaign, focus areas include:
- Resolution of name transfers, partitions, record corrections, demarcations, and identification of traditional pathways.
- Mapping in land records, linking Aadhaar with land records, farmer registry updates, and resolution of cases under the PM Kisan Yojana and Swamitva Scheme.
The Commissioner concluded the meeting by stressing the importance of timely resolution of cases to enhance administrative efficiency and public satisfaction.
