CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Commissioner Karmveer Sharma has directed revenue officers to promptly dispose of pending revenue cases and cases under the Public Service Guarantee, warning that action will be taken if any negligence is found in the work.
Divisional Commissioner Karmveer Sharma issued these instructions on Monday during a review meeting of the Revenue Department with all districts of the division, held through PC from the Commissioner’s office. Joint Commissioner Development Vinod Yadav and Deputy Commissioner Revenue Bharti Devi Mishra were present at the meeting.
While reviewing revenue and development works through VC, Divisional Commissioner Sharma gave clear instructions that, under the Chief Minister’s public campaign, all districts should resolve cases registered on the CM Helpline and in Public Service Management that are beyond the prescribed time limit, complaints pending for more than 50 days, and camp-wise registered complaints. He also directed that reports on complaints received should be entered within the stipulated time.
The meeting was informed that, as of Monday, on the RCMS portal in Bhopal district, 9 cases beyond the time limit were registered in the court of Tehsildar Kolar, 01 in Govindpura, and 05 cases in the court of Tehsildar Circle 01, court of Tehsildar Circle 01, and Naib Tehsildar Bairagarh Chichli, Tehsil Kolar. In Vidisha district, 02 cases were found pending in Kurwai tehsil.
On this, the Divisional Commissioner directed the concerned nodal officer to deduct one day’s salary of the tehsildar and naib tehsildar as per the rules of the Public Service Management Guarantee Act. Sharma also instructed the Deputy Commissioner Revenue to issue show-cause notices to tehsildars found negligent in cases of mutation, partition and enrolment pending beyond the time limit in all districts of the division. While reviewing the CM Helpline, he also directed officials in all districts of the division to speak with beneficiaries whose complaints had been force-closed.
At the meeting, Divisional Commissioner Sharma instructed all districts to use an online system to ensure administrative discipline, transparency in office work, a time-bound and excellent work culture, and regular review of development works being carried out under the division. He stressed developing a result-oriented working system.
