CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Commissioner Karmveer Sharma has directed all divisional officers to ensure micro-level preparations for the proposed programmes under the ‘Seva Se Sankalp Abhiyan’ to be held from September 17 to October 17. He said all preparations should be completed within the stipulated time limit by coordinating with the concerned districts and departments for the successful organisation of the programmes.
Divisional Commissioner Sharma issued these directions during a review meeting on time-limit letters held in the conference hall of the Commissioner’s Office. Joint Commissioner Dr. Vinod Yadav, Deputy Commissioner Revenue Bharti Devi Mishra and divisional officers of various departments were present at the meeting.
Saturate selected villages under Dharti Aaba campaign with schemes
Reviewing the Dharti Aaba Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, Divisional Commissioner Sharma directed the concerned departmental officers to ensure 100 per cent implementation of schemes in the selected villages within one month. He said a special campaign should be conducted for effective implementation of the scheme so that Bhopal division can become the first division in the state.
It is noteworthy that the Dharti Aaba Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan is a comprehensive mission launched by the Government of India for the social and economic development of tribal communities. A total of 277 villages in Bhopal division have been selected under the campaign. These include one village in Bhopal district, 86 in Vidisha, 80 in Sehore, 92 in Raisen and 18 in Rajgarh district. Various schemes of 17 departments have been included in the campaign.
Divisional Commissioner Sharma said the shortcomings in basic facilities such as roads, pucca houses, electricity, drinking water, education, health and nutrition in the selected tribal villages should be removed through coordinated implementation of schemes of various departments. Every eligible beneficiary should receive 100 per cent benefits under the schemes. Farmers should be linked with Kisan Credit Cards, animal husbandry and fisheries schemes, while tribal youth and women should be economically empowered by increasing their livelihood opportunities.
Identify pending complaints and services before camps
Divisional Commissioner Sharma also directed officials to make micro-level preparations for the Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Abhiyan camps to be organised next month. He said that before the camps are held, pending CM Helpline complaints in the concerned development block and cases that have crossed the time limit under the Public Service Guarantee Act should be identified. Their 100 per cent and satisfactory resolution should be ensured at the camps.
He said the main objective of the campaign is to ensure effective implementation of government schemes and time-bound delivery of public services to citizens. During the campaign, the maximum number of public grievances should be resolved satisfactorily with dialogue, solutions, sensitivity and simplicity.
Divisional Commissioner Sharma directed all divisional and departmental officers to visit districts regularly. He said officers should resolve pending CM Helpline complaints and cases under the Public Service Guarantee Act that have exceeded the prescribed time limit. They should also inspect departmental institutions, conduct in-depth reviews of schemes and enter the relevant information on the Chief Minister Jan Abhiyan Portal.
