CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: District Magistrate (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP) listened to public grievances during a complaint-resolution programme in Sandila, Hardoi. The officials reviewed complaints submitted by residents and directed concerned departments to ensure timely and effective disposal of the issues.
During the programme, complainants presented their problems directly before the district administration and police officials. The DM and SP instructed officers to examine each complaint carefully and take action according to the applicable rules. Officials were also directed to maintain proper coordination while dealing with cases involving multiple departments.
The district authorities stressed that complaints should not remain pending unnecessarily. They directed officials to ensure that complainants receive appropriate information about the action taken on their applications.
The DM and SP also emphasised accountability in the grievance-redressal process. Officers were told to avoid delays and ensure that genuine complaints are resolved within the prescribed timeframe.
The programme provided residents with an opportunity to raise civic, administrative and police-related concerns before senior district officials. The administration said that effective grievance redressal remains an important part of ensuring responsive public services.
