Recently, Dr. Rupinder Kaur Kanwar, Head of the Department of Translational Medicine at AIIMS, was honored with the Health Research Stree Shakti Samman 2024 for her contributions to medical research and inspirational guidance. This award was presented to her for adopting new medical technologies, fostering partnerships in medical research, and contributing to the future of medicine in the field of nanotechnology. The award, given in memory of the esteemed leader and public servant Sushma Swaraj, recognizes excellence in science, technology, research, engineering, and entrepreneurship.
