CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Center for Education Growth and Research (CEGR), a leading think tank in the field of education in India, recently conducted its Managing Committee meeting online. The meeting was chaired by Prof. K.K. Aggarwal, Mentor of CEGR and Chairperson of the South Asian University.
During the meeting, all members of the Managing Committee applauded the efforts of CEGR’s National President, Padma Shri Professor G.D. Yadav, for elevating CEGR to new heights. Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Chancellor of JNCT Professional University, was elected as the new National President of CEGR for the year 2025. Padma Shri Professor G.D. Yadav proposed Dr. Chouksey’s name, and the proposal was unanimously approved by the committee members.
Notably, the Center for Education Growth and Research (CEGR) is a prominent educational think tank in the country, credited with four key innovations. CEGR provides a platform for dialogue and collaboration among academicians, media professionals, and policymakers, promoting educational growth and research. With over 10,000 academicians, corporate professionals, and researchers, CEGR’s National Council includes 100 Vice-Chancellors and leading industrialists from across India. CEGR is also renowned for its flagship social initiative, the Indian Education Festival, under which it successfully organized 56 events in a single day across 14 states, making it a unique educational think tank in the country.
