Inspired by Prof. Singh, faculty members have been delivering exceptional performances in various research domains.

Recently, Dr. Jai Kumar Chaurasia, Additional Professor in the Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine, was honored as the “Best E-Poster Speaker” at the International Congress of Cytology, held in Florence, Italy.

Dr. Chaurasia presented his research titled “Fractal Analysis: A Diagnostic Role in Breast Cytopathology”, which focused on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the early diagnosis of breast cytopathology. Over 250 research papers were presented at this prestigious international conference. The session was chaired by renowned French professor Philippe Viel, and Dr. Chaurasia’s work was specially appreciated by global cytopathology experts like Prof. Zubair Baloch from the USA and Dr. Ashish Chandra from London (UK).

This study is considered a significant step towards effectively integrating AI-based technologies for the early detection of breast cancer. Co-authors of this research include Dr. Vaishali Walke (HoD), Dr. Deepti Joshi, Dr. Shakti, Dr. E. Jaishankar from the Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine at AIIMS Bhopal, and Vijayshree Chaurasia from MANIT Bhopal. They congratulated Dr. Chaurasia on this remarkable achievement.
