CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has assigned additional charge of Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal to Dr. Madhavanand Kar, a renowned surgical oncologist and current Director of AIIMS Darbhanga.
Dr. Kar is a distinguished name in the medical field with over 33 years of extensive experience in surgical oncology. He has been associated with some of the most prestigious institutions globally, including AIIMS New Delhi, Apollo Hospitals, Technical University of Munich (Germany), Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (USA), The Royal Marsden (London), and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (USA).
He has previously served successfully as the Director of AIIMS Jodhpur and AIIMS Mangalagiri. Dr. Kar takes charge of AIIMS Bhopal at a time when the institution is progressing rapidly in the fields of healthcare, medical education, and research.
