CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Chief Minister Yadav inaugurated the Government Birsa Munda College (costing around ₹6 crore) in Divyagwan, Sirmaur Assembly constituency of Rewa district on Thursday.

CM Yadav stated that the government is working with full force to make higher education more efficient and of better quality. Expressing happiness, he shared that during his tenure as Higher Education Minister, he had approved the college in Divyagwan, and now he is inaugurating the same college as Chief Minister.

He highlighted that 3,000 students are studying in the college, 80% of whom are girls. The Chief Minister affirmed that the government will leave no stone unturned for the holistic development of women and girls. As much as needed, schools and colleges will be established to support their education.

He added that beyond providing books, uniforms, cycles, laptops, and scooters, the government is also ensuring quality coaching for students.

On this occasion, CM Yadav also announced the construction of a new college building in Baikunthpur.
