CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: An ENT care training program was organized at the ENT seminar hall of AIIMS Bhopal under the National Deafness Prevention and Control Program. The event was inaugurated by Executive Director Ajay Singh and Medical Superintendent Shashank Purwar.
The program was coordinated and organized by CMHO Prabhakar Tiwari with the support of the state and central government under the National Deafness Prevention and Control Program. Forty representatives, including obstetricians and pediatricians from various district hospitals, participated in the event. The participants were made aware of deafness prevention and control through early detection and referral, various schemes, financial assistance, and rehabilitation available for hearing loss by resource faculty members Aparna Chavan (Professor and Head, AIIMS Bhopal), Vikas Gupta, S.P. Dubey, Gankalyan Behera, Shaila Sedam, and audiologist Sunny Khurana. The program concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants.
