CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Bundelkhand University, Vice Chancellor Prof. Mukesh Pandey honored Dr. Rakesh Pandey, Director and Coordinator of the Science and Technology Cell at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal. Bundelkhand University in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, achieved an NAAC A+ grade after 15 years. Dr. Pandey had the opportunity to engage with students, researchers, and faculty members in the Department of Environmental Science on topics including water, land, forests, wildlife, biodiversity, innovation, water conservation, creating green campuses, and how to conserve rainwater in surrounding areas. He emphasized the importance of serving society through science and technology by integrating ancient Indian knowledge, arts, culture, and modern science.
During the program, prominent figures like Vineet, Smriti Tripathi (Head of the Department), Amit Pal, and Sandeep were present. Dr. Pandey toured the university with Prof. Vineet and noted several exemplary initiatives that all universities should emulate. He credited these innovations to Vice Chancellor Mukesh Pandey. Dr. Pandey expressed joy in meeting the students, staff, teachers, and researchers, and appreciated the familial atmosphere within the university, which he deemed essential for all institutions.
