From the same day, the process of adding, correcting, and removing names from the voter list will begin. Citizens who have turned 18 can add their names to the voter list through both online and offline methods. It is essential for voters to be aware of the process for adding, removing, and correcting their names and to ensure their names are listed in the electoral roll.
According to the program released by the Election Commission, the process for receiving claims and objections related to the electoral roll will begin on October 29 and will continue until the final date of November 28. As part of the special summary revision, four special camps will be organized. These camps will be held on November 9, 10, 16, and 17 as per the announced schedule. The final publication of the voter list will be on January 6, 2025.
To make it easier for citizens to access all the necessary information regarding adding their names to the electoral roll, the Chief Electoral Officer has issued a toll-free number, 1950. Responsible citizens can contact this number for all matters related to the voter list.
