Under the chairmanship of the Collector and District Election Officer, Mr. Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, a Standing Committee meeting was held in the conference hall of the Collectorate office. During the meeting, copies of the draft electoral roll were handed over to representatives of political parties, and the Collector provided detailed information regarding the second phase of claims and objections hearings under the SIR process. On this occasion, representatives of political parties appreciated the excellent work carried out by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during the SIR process. The District Election Office also extended congratulations and best wishes to all SDMs and officials for their efforts in the revision of the electoral roll.
Voters of Bhopal district can verify their names at their respective polling stations in the published draft electoral roll. Such cases will be examined and heard as per rules by the Registration Officers, and a final decision will be taken by the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO). All notices will be served to the concerned voters through BLOs.
Claims and objections will be received and resolved during the period from 23-12-2025 to 14-02-2026, and the final publication of the electoral roll will take place on 21-02-2026.
Along with this process, Form-6 will be accepted from new voters who have completed 18 years of age, Form-7 for deletion of names from the electoral roll, and Form-8 for correction or shifting of entries. Voters may submit these forms through BLOs or online via the NVSP Portal or the Voter Helpline Application.
