CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: New Delhi. The Defence Research and Development Organisation has started the recruitment process for 195 apprentice posts for 2026. The recruitment will be carried out at the organisation’s Research Centre Imarat, Hyderabad. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official DRDO website. The last date for submitting applications has been fixed as October 30, 2026.
Under this recruitment drive, 50 Graduate Apprentice, 30 Technician Apprentice and 115 Trade Apprentice posts will be filled. For Graduate and Technician Apprentice posts, candidates must have a BE, BTech or diploma in the relevant engineering branch, while for Trade Apprentice posts, an ITI qualification in the relevant trade is required.
Applicants must have completed their relevant qualification in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026. Candidates must have at least 70 percent marks or a 7.5 CGPA. Age will be calculated as of September 1, 2026, and candidates must be at least 18 years old.
Candidates will be selected according to a merit list prepared on the basis of academic qualifications. If required, an interview may also be conducted. Final selection will be made after verification of documents. Selected candidates will also have to submit a police verification certificate at the time of appointment.
