CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Mumbai. Ajay Devgn-starrer “Drishyam 3: The Conclusion” has made a strong start at the box office on its opening day. Released in theatres on October 2, the film earned around ₹80.10 crore gross in India, while overseas collections of about ₹15 crore took its opening global business to nearly ₹95 crore.

The film’s domestic collection stood at around ₹66.75 crore net, which is being described as the biggest opening of Ajay Devgn’s career. According to trade reports, the film has also found a place among the opening-day records for Hindi films. However, it missed crossing the ₹100 crore mark on the first day.

“Drishyam 3” has surpassed the opening global business of several major films. According to reports, its first-day figure of nearly ₹95 crore is higher than “Peddi” at ₹94 crore, “Jailer” at ₹91 crore and “Kantara Chapter 1” at ₹88 crore.

The film features Ajay Devgn alongside Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta and other actors. Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj and Saurabh Shukla are also part of the film. Abhishek Pathak has directed the film.
