CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Bhopal Division of West Central Railway, Pankaj Tyagi, conducted a window trailing inspection of the Rani Kamlapati–Budhni section. In addition, a comprehensive safety inspection was carried out at Barkheda, Chouka, Midghat, and Budhni railway stations.

The objective of this inspection was to strengthen the safety arrangements of railway operations and to assess the quality of passenger amenities. During the inspection, the DRM closely examined tracks, signaling systems, bridges and culverts, railway crossings, and other critical infrastructure. He directed the concerned officials to ensure strict compliance with all safety standards and emphasized that any negligence would be taken seriously.

Special attention was given to ghat sections such as Midghat and Budhni, where the condition of tracks, safety measures in sloping areas, and operational vigilance of train movement were thoroughly reviewed. The DRM stated that safety in ghat sections is of utmost priority and requires additional caution.

During the inspection, passenger facilities at stations—including platform cleanliness, drinking water arrangements, lighting systems, and information systems—were also reviewed. Officials were instructed to implement necessary improvements promptly to provide passengers with a better and safer travel experience.

On this occasion, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, Senior Divisional Operations Manager Rohit Malviya, along with other senior divisional officers and staff from concerned departments, were also present.
