CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Thirty-eight railway employees who retired from service in the division in May 2026 were given a heartfelt farewell at a dignified ceremony held at the divisional office.
On the occasion, Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Tyagi, who chaired the programme, honoured the retired employees for their valuable contribution.
Among the 38 retired railway personnel were 02 gazetted officers and 36 railway employees who had served in various posts, including Assistant Divisional Finance Manager, Chief Ticket Examiner, Chief Loco Inspector, Loco Pilot, Technician, Helper, Senior Section Engineer, Train Manager, Chief Office Superintendent and Head Constable.

During the programme, the final settlement amount was paid to the retired employees through NEFT. They were also provided Pension Payment Orders through the I-Pass portal, complimentary pass identity cards and Liberalised Medical Facility Cards.
At the ceremony, a total amount of Rs 20.15 crore was paid to all 38 regular retired railway employees. On the occasion, SBI and PNB Bank also informed the retired employees about pension schemes.
Additional Divisional Railway Manager Abhiram Khare, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Vijay Singh, Assistant Personnel Officer (Welfare) Y B Gupta, Assistant Divisional Finance Manager Murli Dhar Meena, representatives of unions and representatives of the All India Retired Railwaymen's Federation were present at the ceremony.
