CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Railway Manager of Bhopal Division, Devashish Tripathi, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Electric Loco Shed, Diesel Loco Shed, and the Divisional Training Centre located in Itarsi. The objective of the inspection was to review safety, operational efficiency, and structural development in order to furter strengthen the quality and security of railway operations.

At the Electric Loco Shed, he thoroughly examined the Hotel Load Converter, the latest H12 loco, the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Traction Motor Section, Bogie Section, and the preparedness of the Breakdown Team. He also reviewed the isolation procedure of Overhead Equipments (OHE). Commending the technical expertise of the staff, Mr. Tripathi advised them to work with honesty and instructed that civil works be completed within the stipulated time.

During the inspection, officials presented innovations implemented in the locomotives aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and operational sustainability. He later visited the Divisional Training Centre, where loco crew members from Bhopal and Jabalpur divisions are being trained for the Amrit Bharat Special Train.

He interacted with the loco pilots, discussing crucial topics such as micro-slip, signal passing at danger (SPAD), rest periods, and safety protocols. He instructed the present officials to ensure quick resolution of reported issues.

This inspection not only boosted the morale of the staff but also highlighted Bhopal Division’s commitment to safety and innovation.
