CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Pankaj Tyagi, along with the concerned officials, conducted an inspection of the Rani Kamalapati–Itarsi railway section.

At Itarsi, the DRM conducted a detailed review under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, inspecting the quality of ongoing construction works, checking catering stalls, cleanliness, and passenger safety arrangements, especially considering the festive season. The concerned officials were specifically instructed to ensure proper passenger facilities at Itarsi station during the upcoming festivals.

In addition, the DRM inspected the Itarsi AC Shed and Diesel Shed. At the AC Shed, he reviewed the training provided to loco pilots in the simulator room.

During the inspection tour, the DRM also examined the facilities provided to loco pilots in the Running Room at Itarsi, ensuring staff comfort after train operations. He also checked the quality of food served in the Running Room and personally tasted the meals, finding them satisfactory.

During the inspection from Itarsi to Rani Kamalapati, DRM found unapproved bottled water in the pantry car of train number 19483 Ahmedabad–Saharsa Express and immediately directed its disposal. He also checked the identity cards of on-board cleaning staff and instructed that cleanliness be ensured throughout the train.

Senior officials accompanying the DRM included Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer (TRS) M. D. Kore, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer Jitendra Srivastava, Divisional Engineer (South) Mohit Sahu, and other concerned officers.
