E-rickshaw service has started to bring patients from the BMHR main gate to the hospital.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Acting Director of BMHRC, Dr. Manisha Srivastava, inaugurated the service. A free e-rickshaw service was launched on July 2, 2024, to transport patients from the main gate of BMHRC to the hospital’s emergency OPD block. The inauguration was done by Dr. Manisha Srivastava, the Acting Director of BMHRC.

This e-rickshaw will be available for patient service from 8 AM to 8 PM. On this occasion, Dr. Manisha Srivastava mentioned that currently, only one e-rickshaw has been started. If needed, the number of vehicles will be increased. To protect patients from sun and rain, a shed will be constructed near the main gate, and chairs will be provided so that patients do not face inconvenience while waiting for the vehicle. She also mentioned that efforts are being made to provide bus service to bring patients from health centers to BMHRC.
