CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the Bhopal-based residence office, the state-level virtual launch of the e-Sanjeevani Portal (Swasth Bharat) was conducted under the Ayush Department’s “Vaidya Aapke Dwar” scheme. Through the e-Sanjeevani portal, the public can now consult with available doctors and receive Ayush-based health advice online. On this occasion, Principal Secretary of Ayush D.P. Ahuja, Ayush Commissioner Uma R. Maheshwari, and other departmental officials were present.
As per the directives of the Government of India, this facility is now operational nationwide through the e-Sanjeevani portal and has also been initiated by the Ayush Department, Madhya Pradesh. Citizens can avail free Ayush medical consultations under the “Vaidya Aapke Dwar” scheme using the e-Sanjeevani Portal (Swasth Bharat) and benefit from holistic health services.

It is noteworthy that under the “Vaidya Aapke Dwar” scheme, the Ayush Department offers Ayush (Ayurveda / Homeopathy / Unani) medical consultations from the comfort of home via a telemedicine app based on telemedicine technology for better public health. This initiative is linked to the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and supports multiple languages.
Using the Doctor-to-Doctor model, community health officers in Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are also enabled to consult specialist doctors in real-time. e-Sanjeevani — India’s national telemedicine service — is a cloud-based platform designed to deliver remote healthcare services across the country. This facility is entirely free of cost.
