CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The School of Animation, Multimedia, Gaming, and VFX at Scope Global Skills University, Bhopal, successfully organized a grand E-Sports Arena Championship. Popular games such as BGMI and Free Fire were featured in the competition. The event generated tremendous enthusiasm among students across the city, giving a new direction to competitive gaming and digital skill development.
More than 145 participants from various leading institutions took part in the championship. The entire planning, management, and execution of the event were handled by students of the AVGC stream, showcasing their exceptional leadership skills, teamwork, and professional competence.
The event was attended by SGSU Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi, University Guru Vijay Singh, Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha, DSW Vinod Kumar Sharma, Head of the School of Animation, Multimedia, Gaming, and VFX Vaibhav Parashar, Assistant Professors Avinash Shakyawar, Prashant Sonare, and Shabnam Khan.
In the Free Fire competition, Team X emerged as the winner, while MP Sports Academy secured the runner-up position. Anuj Keer was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title. In the BGMI category, Crescent Wolf E-Sports won the championship, Never Genesis finished as runner-up, and Prince was named Most Valuable Player.

On this occasion, Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi stated that e-sports is no longer just a form of entertainment, but an emerging career option. Such events prepare students for the global digital industry and foster innovation and competitive thinking.
Dr. Vijay Singh and Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha noted that events like the E-Sports Arena Championship strengthen strategic thinking, quick decision-making abilities, and team spirit among students.
