CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal (a regional center of the National Museum of Natural History, New Delhi) organized a “Poster Making Competition” on the theme “Our Earth, Our Strength” on the occasion of Earth Day.
In this competition, 100 students from Classes 9 to 12, representing 12 different schools from Bhopal, Budhni, Nasrullaganj, and Rehti, participated enthusiastically. The objective of the event was to raise awareness among students about the conservation of the Earth and to sensitize them to the usage and importance of natural resources found on our planet.
The competition began in the presence of Dr. Beenish Rafat, Scientist-D and Head of Office at the museum. During the event, participants creatively depicted the importance of Earth, current environmental challenges, and their potential solutions through colorful posters.
At the conclusion of the competition, participation certificates were distributed to all the students. Teachers from participating schools and museum staff were also present during the event.
