In line with this trend, the Central Region Electricity Distribution Company has introduced the option to pay electricity bills via credit and debit cards, allowing consumers to easily settle their bills.

To facilitate card payments, the company has provided POS (Point of Sale) machines at all electricity distribution and zone offices for payments through debit and credit cards. Consumers may choose to pay by cash, UPI, or card, making electricity bill payments even more convenient. After making a payment, consumers are advised to review the receipt details, such as consumer number, payment amount, date, and payment method, and keep it safely. This allows consumers to pay their bills before the due date and avoid disconnection procedures.
