CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: India’s skills have always been strong. The craftsmanship of temples and the Iron Pillar of Delhi are prime examples. The level of skill present in India is unparalleled worldwide. Instances such as Hanuman lifting a mountain, sound-guided arrows, and water conservation highlight this. The need is to recognize our inherent skills, which is the focus of our education policy. These thoughts were shared today at a national seminar on “Empowered Skills: The Foundation of India’s Sustainable Development,” held at Babulal Gaur Government Postgraduate College, BHEL, Bhopal.

Speaking as the Chief Guest, Ashok Kadel, Director of Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy, stated that India’s skills have always been its strength. He emphasized that India’s rich culture, civilization, and traditions have always been rooted in knowledge, reflecting the timeless philosophy of “ever-new and eternal.”

Suresh Kumar Jain, Vice-Chancellor of Barkatullah University, speaking as a special guest, said, “The level of skill found in India is unmatched globally. The National Education Policy 2020 is based on the foundation of recognizing and nurturing these skills.” He cited examples such as artificial intelligence, sound-guided arrows, Hanuman lifting a mountain, and water conservation as testaments to India’s empowered skills.

Additional Director of Higher Education Mathura Prasad highlighted that India lacks no skills, and today’s youth are capable of demonstrating proficiency across various fields. Janbhagidari President Barelal Ahirwar expressed his delight over the event.

The seminar began with Principal Sanjay Jain welcoming all guests with shawls, coconuts, mementos, and saplings. The seminar was conducted under the coordination of Samta Jain.
