CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Students of the School of Banking, Finance, and Commerce at Scope Global Skills University (SGSU) conducted an educational visit to a spinning mill located in the industrial area of Tamot. During the visit, students were introduced to the entire production process, from raw materials to finished garments. They observed key stages such as weaving, dyeing, and printing, with the training officers explaining each process in detail. This gave the students hands-on exposure to the operations of a real production unit.
HR Manager Rajiv Mehta provided an overview of the organization and explained its organizational structure. Meanwhile, Senior Manager (Accounts & Commercial) Parveen Dhawan demonstrated how various financial accounting principles taught in the classroom—such as inventory management, cost accounting, financial planning, and organizational workflows—are applied in the industry.
The visit was coordinated by Nidhi Richharia. On this occasion, Dr. Neeta Vaydande, Head of the School of Finance, and Dr. Vinod Sharma, DSW, were also present. The visit was organized under the guidance of SGSU Chancellor Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vijay Singh, and Registrar Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha.
Chancellor Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi stated that SGSU aims not only to provide students with theoretical knowledge but also to familiarize them with the requirements of real workplaces and industrial processes. Such visits enhance students’ industrial understanding, perspective, and career readiness.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vijay Singh and Registrar Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha added that connecting students with industry is one of the most crucial needs of the education system. Experiences like these prepare students to adapt effectively to evolving industrial demands.
