When the passenger’s condition became serious, they were immediately taken to a hospital, where they could not be saved. After the incident, police are working to establish the identity of the deceased.
According to information, the elderly passenger’s health suddenly deteriorated during the train journey. After receiving the information, they were taken off the train at Pendra Road station and shifted to a hospital for treatment. However, despite medical efforts, the passenger died.
After being informed about the incident, police began an investigation into the matter. At present, efforts are being made to identify the deceased on the basis of belongings found with them and other possible clues. Police are also trying to ascertain where the elderly passenger was travelling from and where they were headed. Necessary legal procedures are being carried out after the incident at the railway station. Once the deceased is identified, efforts will be made to inform their family members. For now, the police investigation and identification process are continuing.
