Actress Elnaz Norouzi is currently in the news for her Hollywood film The Fix. In the film, she is seen alongside Hollywood actor Liam Neeson and Jack Levy. Through this international project, Elnaz has achieved a new milestone in her acting career. She has shared her views on the experience of working in the film and the differences between the Hollywood and Indian film industries.
According to Elnaz, major Hollywood stars are very easygoing and grounded in their behaviour. She described the experience of working with Liam Neeson as special. The actress said Neeson completely slips into his character in front of the camera and returns to normal behaviour as soon as the camera is switched off. The pressure of stardom is not visible in his personality.
Elnaz said Hollywood sets give priority to quietness. She also pointed out a major difference in the functioning of Indian and Hollywood film sets. According to her, during shoots in Hollywood, the set is kept relatively quiet and only essential people are allowed to remain nearby. This enables actors to focus better on their characters and performances.
She said that on Indian film sets, a large number of people are often present during the shooting of a scene. This can distract actors. Elnaz believes that the Indian film industry also needs to reduce unnecessary crowding during shoots and make working methods more organised.
The actress said changes are needed in filmmaking methods. According to her, discipline on set, clear responsibilities and a professional atmosphere are small but important changes. If the Indian film industry adopts these aspects, artists will get a better environment and the filmmaking process could also be affected. The Fix has been directed by Guy Moshe. It is an action thriller film in which Elnaz also plays an important role alongside Jack Levy and Liam Neeson. The film was released in India on October 30. For Elnaz, this project is an important opportunity to strengthen her identity in international cinema.
