CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The West Central Railway’s Bhopal division is organising Official Language Fortnight-2026 until September 26, 2026. As part of the fortnight, various competitions and programmes are being held to increase awareness among officers and employees about the official language Hindi and to encourage greater use of Hindi in official work.
In this sequence, an “Employee Quiz Competition” was organised at the divisional office. Thirty employees of the Bhopal division participated enthusiastically in the competition. Through the quiz, an effort was made to enhance employees’ knowledge related to the official language Hindi, along with developing their understanding of general knowledge and various railway-related subjects in an interesting and participatory manner.
During the competition, participants were asked questions related to various topics, in which the employees took part with enthusiasm. The quiz encouraged interest and awareness among employees regarding the Hindi language and promoted the use of simple, easy and effective Hindi in official work.
It is noteworthy that Official Language Fortnight-2026 was inaugurated by Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Tyagi. Under the fortnight, various Hindi competitions and programmes are being organised for officers and employees. The closing ceremony of the Official Language Fortnight, prize distribution and a humour poets’ meet will be held at Narmada Club from 3:00 pm on September 26, 2026.
The Bhopal division has called upon all officers and employees to participate in large numbers in the programmes organised under the Official Language Fortnight and to promote the use and spread of the official language Hindi in official work.
